Bulk billing means the clinic charges Medicare directly for your consultation instead of charging you. The Medicare rebate fully covers the cost, so you pay $0 out of pocket for eligible bulk-billed services.
All patients holding a valid Medicare card are eligible. This includes Australian citizens, permanent residents, and some visa holders with reciprocal Medicare rights. DVA card holders are also welcome. Please bring your card to every appointment.
Standard GP consultations are bulk billed for all Medicare card holders. Some extended consultations, minor procedures, or non-Medicare services may attract a small fee. Your doctor will always tell you in advance if any charge applies — there are never any surprise bills.
Yes — we can still see you, though a consultation fee may apply without a Medicare card. We can assist you with information on how to apply for a Medicare card through Services Australia. Once you have your card, all eligible consultations are fully bulk billed.
